WELCOME

This Georgian property, built in 1790, sits on Great Pulteney Street, close to the historic city centre of Bath. The apartment is available to book for up to 5 guests. 

​​With a walled, tranquil private garden designed by an RHS medal winning designer, 
this newly-refurbished and fully equipped apartment has top quality linen, toiletries, large TV and other luxurious touches, to ensure you have a memorable stay in this oasis of calm in an historic and vibrant city.

ABOUT THE APARTMENT
​

The apartment is large and spacious but with a cosy feel. It has two adult bedrooms, plus a quirky additional space containing a fold out bed suitable for a child or small adult. There is a large sitting room with a separate wonderful, light and airy dining room. To top it off is the amazing serene and tranquil walled garden - all to yourself.

Being at garden level, the bedrooms are very quiet but benefit from the tall windows which offer plenty of light. Bedroom one has a king-sized bed, whilst bedroom two has a pair of twin 3ft 'zip-and-link' beds, which can be converted to a 6ft super king upon request when booking. There is a 55 inch 952 OLED 4K TV in the sitting room, and a 40inch TV in bedroom 2. The current rate for a night in the apartment starts from £180 for four people.


GUEST ACCESS

There is a level private rear entrance to the apartment, which we would request that you use as much as possible, and always on arrival and departure from the apartment. There is also a street entrance with one flight of stairs down to the apartment.
There are no parking spaces available with this apartment, however there is meter parking for up to 3 hours on the street outside, via MiPermit, and free parking from 7pm-8am daily. Parking is free all day Sunday and on Public Holidays. There is also 2 hr free parking in the surrounding streets. There's a website called Parkopedia that lists every parking space in Bath. Most car parks are 10-15 minutes away.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS

When you arrive, in most instances Joan (the owner) will meet you and show you around the flat, answer questions and provide you with keys. On the rare occasions that she is not available there is a key safe and you will be given clear directions regarding its location and use.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
  • On rare occasions, during longer stays, Joan may come to take out laundry and let it dry in the garden, during bed-changing day.
  • Children are welcome at the apartment, but the flat is not childproof (tables with sharp corners, standard electricity sockets etc.) You are fully responsible for supervising and taking care of your child.
  • When people are out on weekend nights, some street noise can be heard. This has never been an issue, however, as the apartment is generally very quiet.
